Taking it easy...

I can't say enough thank yous for all my clients. It's amazing getting to do something I am so passionate about...getting paid is a perk, but not the reason I do what I do. I love capturing moments and being part of someones art work on the walls at home, it puts a smile on my face. Never did I know how one day that I was going to be given this opportunity.

If you are update with my recent posts over the past month you know that we are excited to welcome our second baby in November 2012. In the recent week I have had some complications with the pregnancy. Despite the complications the baby is doing well and there isn't much more we could ask for.

I've decided to close the availability of my sessions through July. I absolutely can not schedule anymore sessions. The sessions I have for May, June and July already scheduled, those sessions will go as planned unless I contact you otherwise.

Current session CD turn around time is two weeks.

Thank you,

Amanda

Aubrey 8 Months

I met Aubrey last weekend and quickly feel in love with her one perfect dimple and contagious smile.

Still smiles, even with an ear infection.

Micah

My friend Kristi has an adorable one year little boy Micah. I jump at any opportunity to photograph this little man. Kristi came to me a few weeks back saying she has a uniform that's been in her husband's side of the family for years. In fact this was made from an actual uniform from WWII. Little did I know at the time just how adorable this uniform was until I saw it.

I can't wait to get my hands on this man for another session, he was a blast!

A message from the photographer

I never thought I would be sitting down to write this very post...in fact I have been putting it off for several weeks.

A year and a half ago when I starting taking photos professionally I never thought my little business would sprout out to be what it is today!

I get photo inquires now almost on a every other day basis. I love it! But what I have come to realize in the past year as much as I love photography, my family comes first. For those that don't know the story behind my photography, our little boy is the face behind my love. Harrison was born 11 weeks too soon, he is our miracle. A couple of weeks ago I announced we were expecting baby #2. We are excited, hoping and praying everyday for a healthy baby.

I started limiting photo sessions beginning in June. On top of photography I also work as a full time social worker and the demands of parenting, working, high-risk pregnancy and photography would all be a bit much. I am going to take the time to enjoy this pregnancy, spend time with my family and rest as much as I can.

Currently I will continue to work with the families that I already have worked with. I know how hard it is to find a photographer you like, so no worries, I'll be here for you and your family as long as you want to keep me around.

If you have a session booked with me already...don't worry, your space is safe!

For those interested I am booking in July/August presently. I will be opening up a large number of spots September/October in the coming months for fall sessions. We will just see how many sessions baby #2 will let me squeeze in before his/her arrival.

Thank you for all the positive feedback and many inquires!

ONE!

I've had more than usual one year sessions in the past few weeks...but I am not complaining; I love seeing that cake get smashed just as much as those fresh one year old love that frosting!

Remember this guy at 6 Months?

He's growing up, turning one year young this month!

And who couldn't forget this beauty at 6 Months?

Yep, here she is again---this time striking a one year old pose.
I finally got to try out my new banner!
