As a photographer we spend so much time in front of the camera, we are usually the last one's to have updated family photos. My friend/photographer Jenna Sefkow took our family photos back in September. It felt phenomenal not to have set the timer or grab the camera remote and attempt to get a usable photo.. Trust me, I have been down that road more than once, but after the age of one, it's nearly impossible; no wait, it is impossible.
This brings me to the Connaughty Family. Mom Maggie is a local photographer with her hands full with three beautiful children. Maggie felt much like me, tired of seeing bare walls without any updated family photos. It was her turn to step out in front of the camera and capture some beautiful shots with her family. It was a pleasure meeting you Maggie and thank you for sharing your family with me.

Did I mention that all three children outfits were hand made? Probably the cutest outfits I have ever seen. Each skirt bared a A for their name and mom made the matching headbands for girls while big brother sported his hand-made hat. The colors were bright/dark to mix perfect with the fall coloring.
If I had to choose, this next one is my favorite shot from the day.
I couldn't resist sharing this last one...LOVE her face, this is what makes a photo.
